LEARNING NODES

A holistic approach to skill development by integrating technical training with employability enhancement, soft skill training, Domain + AI integration, career guidance, certification support, and placement facilitation and retention tracking.

The programme offers training across a range of high-growth and emerging sectors, including:

Institute-Based Skilling Program:

The programme combines structured learning with practical application, enabling participants to strengthen their technical knowledge while building critical workplace skills. Through career guidance, mentorship, and industry engagement, learners gain a deeper understanding of workplace expectations and emerging employment opportunities.

Key areas of learning include:

A defining feature of the program is its strong focus on employment outcomes. Learners benefit from employer interactions, career counselling, interview preparation, placement drives, and candidate-job matching support, creating a seamless pathway from training to employment. Post-placement engagement further helps candidates adapt to workplace environments and sustain their career growth.

Blended Learning & Employability Model

LabourNet Foundation’s Blended Learning Model expands access to quality skilling by combining the flexibility of digital learning with the effectiveness of in-person mentoring and support. Designed to reach learners across geographies, particularly those in aspirational districts and underserved regions, the model enables participants to access industry-relevant training regardless of location.

Key features of the Blended Learning Model include:

The model combines technical and sector-specific training with employability enhancement, career guidance, certification support, and placement facilitation. Learners also develop critical workplace competencies such as communication, problem-solving, digital fluency, and professional readiness, preparing them for success in an evolving world of work.

LEARNING NODES

LabourNet Foundation’s Learning Nodes bring skill development closer to learners by creating accessible, community-based training hubs that combine technical education with employability support. Designed to address barriers related to distance, affordability, and access to quality training, Learning Nodes enable youth to acquire industry-relevant skills within their own communities while benefiting from structured pathways to employment.

Built as localised centres of learning, Learning Nodes integrate technical training, employability enhancement, soft skills development, career guidance, certification support, and placement facilitation. By leveraging a networked approach to training delivery, the model strengthens access to opportunities in emerging and high-growth sectors while ensuring learners receive the support needed to transition successfully into the workforce and sustain employment outcomes.

Impact

Institute-Based Employability Programme:

(Skill training in institutes/ ITIs)

LabourNet Foundation’s Institute-Based Employability Programme is designed to bridge the gap between education and employment by preparing students and graduates for successful entry into the workforce. Implemented in partnership with educational institutions, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), diploma colleges, and other vocational training providers, the programme equips learners with the skills, confidence, and industry exposure required to navigate today’s evolving job market.

Recognising that technical qualifications alone are often insufficient for securing and sustaining employment, the programme integrates employability enhancement with industry-relevant training. Learners are supported in developing both professional competencies and workplace behaviours that employers increasingly value, helping them transition more effectively from classrooms to careers.

Impact

The programme prepares learners for opportunities across a diverse range of sectors, including manufacturing, technical services, operations, retail, customer support, and emerging industries. By fostering closer collaboration between educational institutions and employers, LabourNet Foundation helps ensure that training remains aligned with industry expectations and workforce demand.

Through this model, thousands of students and first-time job seekers have strengthened their employability, earned industry-relevant certifications, and accessed meaningful livelihood opportunities. The programme demonstrates the value of integrating skilling, mentorship, and employer engagement to support successful transitions from education to sustainable employment.

Blended Learning & Employability Model:

The approach integrates online learning modules, virtual instructor-led sessions, and on-ground learner support to create an engaging and accessible training experience. By balancing technology-enabled learning with local facilitation, the model helps learners stay connected, motivated, and on track throughout their skilling journey.

Built to address barriers such as geographic distance, limited training infrastructure, and accessibility challenges, the Blended Learning Model creates pathways for youth to acquire job-ready skills while continuing to learn from their own communities. The flexibility of the model has enabled LabourNet Foundation to extend its reach to smaller states and Union Territories, ensuring that quality skilling opportunities are available to learners who may otherwise have limited access to vocational training.
