LabourNet Livelihood Foundation - CSR Partnerships

Providing skills,
creating livelihoods

LabourNet works to unlock talent at scale, providing youth with the necessary skills and jobs, all while creating social impact.

LabourNet Livelihood Foundation partners with CSR arms of corporates to design and implement their mandates. We also work with other NGO’s, government welfare boards, and informal workers from various communities on our livelihood programmes.

With all our partnerships, we aim to go beyond providing stop-gap solutions and look to implement programmes at scale.

Our Initiatives

Enabling Decent
Livelihoods

Skilling and Reskilling
Programmes

We help lakhs of students, including differently-abled youth, acquire vocational skills through early intervention in school and college-level skilling programs.

We partner with private industrial training centres for vocational education at higher levels. We also have EdTech skilling solutions, blended approach to training and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programs. These programmes also have industry linkages for formal employment.

Community-based
Entrepreneurship

Unemployment is a serious problem and job creation is a limited solution. Our community-based entrepreneurship program creates a supportive ecosystem so people can be self-employed. We encourage them to create their own opportunities through entrepreneurship. This involves access to infrastructure, learning, capital, and technology. We also provide access to professional communities and networks to help these young professionals grow.

Women Empowerment

Women are important catalysts for social change. A common theme across our programs is a focus on creating young women leaders. This means providing women with access to quality learning, working capital, as well as adequate mentorship and guidance. It also takes the form of community interventions and creating safe spaces so they can address the issues they face.

Youth Empowerment

Our youth want opportunities, not handouts. Our CSR-funded youth empowerment programmes aim to level the playing field by providing fair access to opportunities. This means quality skilling and continuous learning, providing job linkages to the formal economy and access to a long-term alumni and referral network.
Our hybrid learning programmes also cater to the job aspirations of youth and prepare them for the future.

Dignity for the Vulnerable

We work to help marginalized and vulnerable sections of society improve their quality of life. This includes providing affordable housing and proper sanitation for migrant workers. We also educate them about various family health and education services. While linkages to the formal economy also help generate livelihoods, we also encourage alternative livelihoods through skill development.
